Happy Halloween!!

Echelon has a great Halloween party and I look forward to it every year. Some of us dress up for the costume contest. If you win you get this dorky trophy, so of course we all want it. We also bring lots of food and while we eat we share pictures from our vacations. This year we saw pictures from California to Turkey and they included such things as the strong man contest and a trip to forks, Washington (where the book twilight is written). I didn't show any pictures this year. Many of my co-workers wanted, understandably, to see my trip to OHIO but Ern-O (our trip photographer) has not posted the picts yet. I will have to save it for next year. Kim who won the costume trophy,  also won the cutest award, I took most creative, and Geri won scariest. I wore Cassi's costume from last year; the game twister. It was funny how many people wanted to spin the hat. Right hand, yellow! Left foot, green!

Lumpy Land

We spent last week at Goblin Valley. We had a great time. I love this picture of Cassidy. Goblin Valley is one of her favorite places to visit. It was through her persuasion that we decided to plan our trip around the Goblins.  For most, it is easy to see why such a place would evoke such passion from a child.  The Goblins knobby forms create hills and valleys, mini slot canyons, mountains, castles and hideouts, or aliens and monsters depending on your imagination. It’s a natural playground and it affects more than the children. Most adults cannot help but giggle a little bit when they see such a large play place.
