A bit of this and that-Pictures of Easter morning

I found this in my unpublished posts.... I dont know why I never posted it. :)

It all started with a bit of this. Tanner riding his new scooter in the house.

And so we decided to do a bit of this. We  were up early for Easter. The kids apparently too excited to sleep, had waken us up at 5:00 a.m. Of course, we tortured them with 30 min more sleep while they tortured us with 30 min of whining. And so we were up, played with toys, had
plenty of chocolate with a side of breakfast and then found ourselves with a whole lot of day and very little to do. So by 8:00 am, the kids and I were dressed and at the Jordan river parkway. We went to one of my favorite sections at 126th south.

Of course, I stopped off and got some of this. For me, there is no better way to start your day, than with an early morning walk and a cup of joe. The kids do not matter much in this equation. But at times,  they were an added benefit.

But really! Why did I dress like this? This is
an outfit that would surly upset Stacey and Clinton on "what not to wear". I am sure that they would not care to hear the short process I went through before placing each one of these items onto my body and before *gasp* I walked out the door.  I based most of my decisions on availability and comfort and not design. *more gasping!* It admittedly was terrible but I had quite a laugh seeing peoples expressions as they walked by. Yes, I am totally entertained by such things.

It was a beautiful day.  Kinda like this and that. It was a bit chilly in the beginning. The sun warming us more and more as time went on. We spent over two hours there. Walking, laughing, sometimes fighting (kids!), playing and talking with each other. The kids, Cassi on blades and tanner on his scooter,  in constant momentum. With me, slowly following behind.

  1. That sounds just perfect for Easter morning. :)

Also, I think Stacy and Clinton would approve. You look cute and warm. And the glasses are HOT.
