The kids and I usually spend the evening sitting on the deck, while the fledged morning doves torture their poor parents, the scrub jays making a ruckus with the robins, and many others that twittering around behind leaves. We watch the birds and discuss what ever subject comes up. Towards the end of this last evening Casi decided she needed cookies.
Casi: "I want cookies."
Me: "That does sounds good." Not wanting to commit to making cookies since it was getting late I ask, " What can we make that is like cookies?"
Casi responds: "Cookies"
Casi, Tanner, and I burst into giggles.
When Tanner says: "I don't know what we are talking about but, it's funny!"
and we laugh again.

ReplyDeleteBut, did you make cookies? And, just in case you weren't aware you can buy them and keep them in your fridge for instant baking! They may not be as good, but they do in a pinch! :) Love you guys!!!!
ReplyDeleteAmbi- Thats exactly what I was thinking. I should be more prepared. And no, we did not make any cookies. We all went to bed without any cookies or cookie like item.
