We left, from Nate's parents home, for GLACIER NATIONAL PARK about noon. The plan was to meet the rest of the group along the way. We meet up with Brandon, Kate, Tanisha and Dillon in Pocatello and planned to stop Deer Lodge to meet up with the remaining members, Nick and Kendra. Things however, did not work out as planned. We never meet up with Nick and Kendra and we continued on to Seely Lake where we hoped to find a place to set up camp for the night.
Seely Lake is a beautiful area and we were not the only ones to think so. The campgrounds were full, we were running out of daylight, and the roads were loaded with deer. We were not too excited to continue on. Finally one campground attendant allowed us to camp in their parking lot for $15 each. We happily paid the price and "set up" camp. For us this meant dropping the stabilizing jacks and maneuvering around the kayak (which occupied the middle of the camper).
A few of us decided to head to the lake shore for the final minuets of sunset.
