Nate went Italian with the food, serving roast beef with a yummy roasted tomato sauce and sauteed mushroom and artichoke pasta. Kendra and Nick supplied a green salad and dressing (I am still thinking about how good it was). Brandon and Kate brought Tiramisu!
I had so many plans for the table setting but had a little difficulty putting it all together. I wanted turquoise and silver colors but I could not find a material store. Its really hard moving and not knowing were anything is. Over all I think it turned out well and probably kept more with the Italian theme than my initial plans. My favorite part of the decorations was the use of 16X16 inch floor tiles as the place mats and placing candles everywhere to make up for the fact that we still have not found a light to go over out table.
Hope everyone had a great holiday spent with those they love.
Happy Valentines Day!
The meal sounds delicious and the table looks beautiful. You have a real discerning eye Angie. I like the idea of the floor tile placemats.
ReplyDeleteYou two are such a good team and compliment each other so well! I love the table display Ang, I never would have thought to put tiles down as the place mats but LOVE it! I would also very much like to experience Nate's cooking! I'm glad your Valentines Day was so much fun! By the way I'm thinking you two should open your own restaurant someday for real!
ReplyDeleteWow! Nice work! I think it's incredible how well Nate does in the kitchen. I've decided most of my kids just did their own thing.. I'm not sure any of them learned any of their amazing skills at home. (But maybe they did learn that we love them.)
